BOOK YOUR PROGRAM
HOW TO BOOK YOUR PROGRAM
Booking an Education Program with Students on Tour is an easy process. Remember at any time you can always call a friendly Students on Tour Education Program Consultant team member to walk you through the process.
There are basically three main steps:
PICK OUT DATES & YOUR PROGRAM
First, decide how many days in length you want your Students on Tour Education Program to be. Then, look at your school's yearly calendar and select several dates that will work for you.
After you have selected dates, check out our different education programs. Washington, D.C. is Students on Tour core program. Most groups include Washington, D.C. somewhere in their itinerary. However, for modest additional prices, you can add extensions to Williamsburg, Gettysburg, Amish Country, Philadelphia, New York City, or Boston. Some schools do a trip to just New York City, or just the Boston area. It's your program. You decide whats important to your educational needs.
Once you have your dates and educational program selected, contact us. Our friendly Education Program Consultants will work with you to book your education program the way you want it. Students on Tour then prints and sends you enough Participant Registration Forms to pass out to all interested persons. These forms contain the itinerary and instruction on how to go online and register for the program.
HOLD AN INFORMATIONAL MEETING
Once you have received your itineraries and registration forms, hold an informational meeting for the parents. We will provide you with promotional materials to use in advertising the meeting.
During this meeting, play our orientation video and then pass out the Participant Registration Forms. There may be some questions, and we are always here to help, but the video covers many of them.
The parents and guardians can then simply go on-line and register or fill out the registration form and mail it along with the deposit to our home office.
SIT BACK & WE WILL DO THE REST
That's right! Let us handle the rest of the planning. Our online registration and payment portal make easy work of keeping track of your participants. With your Students on Tour Organizer E-Office password and login, you can go on-line at any time and view a number of current reports and information.
You as an Program Organizer will be asked to mail a few special requests to Congressmen for tours of the White House and a letter to the Army to request a wreath-laying ceremony - if those are events you wish to include in your program. Students on Tour will organize the rest of your program details for you.
You have enough concerns running a classroom - let us plan your Students on Tour Education Program Today!
